On March 07, 2023, we hosted a LinkedIn Live event featuring our senior vice president and chief information officer, Lisa Davis, along with our chief information security officer, Eddie Borrero. "I can't think of a better sector to be working in than in health care right now," shared Lisa Davis. She goes on to talk about how Blue Shield of California is doing some "amazing things all around the purpose of driving impact and transforming the healthcare system that we're all in today."

Despite the recent tech layoffs in Silicoln Valley, Blue Shield is hiring for tech positions in the healthcare sector. Lisa Davis states, "There is tremendous digital transformation and technology innovation that is occurring to create a healthcare system, which is our mission here at Blue Shield of California, that is worthy of our family and friends."
