June is Pride month, an annual celebration honoring the legacies of LGBTQ+ leaders past and present, bringing together queer communities and allies worldwide, and reinvigorating us all in our advocacy and push for progress.
At Blue Shield of California, our Pride Employee Resource Group works to foster the visibility, inclusion and advancement of our LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies, as well as people supporting LGBTQ+ health. We are committed to supporting LGBTQ+ equality and empowerment, connecting and networking with our Pride colleagues, and participating in live and virtual Pride events.
Pride seeks to cultivate a sense of belonging, develop opportunities to learn as an ally, and inspire our communities to create inclusive and affirming spaces for all.
